2024 Call for Entries Are Closed
The annual Design Awards program celebrates projects that epitomize what we continue to expect from architects in New York State. Projects can range from skyscrapers, to residences, and are designed by firms of all sizes. Additionally, projects are built all around the world and all designed to achieve different goals: with the commonality of being designed by architects from New York. You will have the distinguished opportunity to join an elite group of architects with AIANYS Design Award.
AIANYS Members | For a design project to be eligible to be considered by the AIANYS Design Awards Jury, the architect must be a registered and licensed architect in New York State. Works of architecture can be located anywhere in the world by AIA New York State members.
Registered, licensed architects who are not members of AIANYS | Design projects by architects who are not members of AIANYS are eligible to be considered by the AIANYS Design Awards Jury. The architects must be licensed and registered architects in New York State, and projects must be located within New York State.

Members of AIA New York State | $275.00 per entry
Non Members | $405.00 per entry
Inclusion in the AIA Tri-State Design Awards
In addition to the AIANYS program, the AIA Tri-State Design Awards will be celebrated in conjunction with with the AIA Tri-State Fusion Conference, scheduled for November 18-20 in Hershey, PA.
The 2024 AIA Tri-State Design Awards will continue to accept submissions through Sunday, October 13 at 11:59 pm.
Projects entered in the submitting firm’s 2022, 2023, or 2024 AIA state chapter awards program are eligible. You will receive details about these awards upon registration of your state project. Projects entered in 2022 or 2023 will be contacted separately.
